Vivian Nail House is a new, up-and-coming salon specializing in everything from gel manicures, to dip powder, to acrylic nails, to brows. We are conveniently located in the heart of New Albany, making us the perfect place for all of your self-care needs. Our clients' health is very important to us, so for your safety, we have built-in ventilation, and we disinfect our non-disposable tools as required by the Ohio Board of Cosmetology (though we are not required to have sterilization tools as in hospitals). This salon is designed to have a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages clients to make themselves at home. We strive for professionalism and aim to create a relaxing and pleasant environment for our customers. Our staff is committed to accommodate your needs; we serve both walk-ins and pre-made appointments. On Fridays and Saturdays, due to high volume, walk-ins will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. For your convenience, we have an online booking system as well as optional text reminders of upcoming appointments. Additionally, we at Vivan Nail House are always open to suggestions and feedback, which you can submit to us on our website at any time. About Me
My name is Vivian and I am the owner of Vivian Nail House! I am married with two sons, a 6 year old and a 4 year old. I have been working in New Albany and Westerville areas for about 5 years now, and I have been in the nail industry for 20 years. At previous salons I worked at, I noticed that clients were very appreciative and tended to request me for further appointments when I was especially attentive to their wants/needs. I also noticed how important it was for salons to cater to certain scheduling needs, such as taking both walk-in customers as well as appointments. I have witnessed the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to salon ownership. Many struggle with staff management and integration of new technologies such as online booking and the latest nail trends, and this would hinder their business. I finally decided to open my own salon in which I could provide these necessary components of running a proper business. One of my best clients gave me some much needed advice; she said "you have done this long enough, you know how to make it work. It's time to challenge yourself and start believing in yourself", and that really stuck with me. So, with the help of a few clients that love me dearly, I hope to bring something to the table that other salons in the area may be lacking. I envision this salon being a modern, peaceful, less intimidating locale where the customers can spend some time together and share stories while being pampered!
